When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and profile information you choose to provide. This helps us personalize your experience and communicate with you.
Goal and Activity Data
We collect information about your goals, check-ins, progress updates, and interactions with the AI coach. This data is essential for providing personalized coaching and tracking your progress.
Usage Information
We collect information about how you use Myzie, including features accessed, time spent, and interaction patterns. This helps us improve the app and your experience.
Device Information
We collect device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers for analytics and to provide push notifications.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and personalize the Myzie service
- Send daily check-ins and notifications you've opted into
- Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations
- Improve our products and develop new features
- Communicate with you about your account and updates
- Send email communications you've explicitly opted into (see Email Communications below)
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
Email Communications
Myzie sends email communications only to users who have explicitly opted in. We use OneSignal as our email delivery platform.
How You Opt In
During account creation or onboarding, you are presented with a clear, separate option to receive email communications from Myzie. This opt-in is not enabled by default — you must actively choose to receive emails by toggling the email communications preference on. You may also enable email communications at any time from the Notification Preferences screen within the app settings.
What Emails We Send
If you opt in, you may receive:
- Goal progress summaries and weekly insights
- Challenge updates and community highlights
- Tips, motivation, and product updates
- Account-related transactional emails (these are sent regardless of marketing preferences as they are necessary for service operation)
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of email communications at any time by:
- Toggling off “Email communications” in your Notification Preferences within the app
- Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link included in every marketing email
- Contacting us at support@myzie.ai
Opt-out requests are honored promptly. Transactional emails related to your account security and service operation will continue regardless of marketing email preferences.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Myzie:
- Supabase - Database and authentication
- OneSignal - Push notifications and email communications
- OpenAI/Anthropic - AI coaching features
- SendGrid - Transactional emails
These services have their own privacy policies and handle data according to their terms.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
Children's Privacy
Myzie is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
